XII Interuniversity World Meeting Posadas 2026

An international medical congress dedicated to scientific consensus, professional education, and global collaboration in Phlebology, Lymphology, Aesthetics, and related specialties.

From November 5 to 7, 2026, Posadas, Misiones will host the XII Interuniversity World Meeting, an international congress bringing together medical leaders, scientific societies, universities, and healthcare professionals from Latin America and around the world.

The event will feature a scientific program, theoretical-practical courses, hands-on training, multisociety sessions, academic activities, and a meaningful humanitarian mission designed to create a direct impact in the local community.

An International Congress Built Around Medical Consensus

The XII Interuniversity World Meeting is designed as a space for scientific exchange, professional education, and the development of regional and international medical consensus. Throughout the event, specialists from different countries will share clinical experience, scientific updates, and new perspectives to strengthen the future of Phlebology, Lymphology, and related medical fields.

Phlebo Aesthetics and Transdermal Laser

This course covers the treatment of feeding veins and telangiectasias with high-power transdermal laser technologies, including wavelengths, clinical uses, photophleborejuvenation, patient selection, safety, and laser-related complications.

Non-Invasive Vascular Diagnosis in CVD

This course reviews ultrasound and Doppler principles for chronic venous disease, including sound behavior, transducers, spectral analysis, superficial venous anatomy, perforators, anatomical variations, and Venous Mapping for diagnosis and planning.

Thermal & Non-Thermal Superficial Venous Ablation

This course provides simulation and hands-on training in endovascular procedures, including ultrasound-guided punctures, reticular vein sclerotherapy, MOCA, Flebogrif, Clarivein, cyanoacrylate, vascular access techniques, laser, and radiofrequency.

Vascular Rehabilitation

This course focuses on venous edema, trophic disorders, lipedema, and lymphedema through lymphatic drainage techniques, derivative lymphatic currents, magnetotherapy, shockwaves, electroporation, deep oscillation, wet bandages, and pressotherapy.

Ulcers & Advanced Wound Care

This course reviews current global approaches to advanced wound care, including the development of wound healing centers, clinical stages of care, treatment protocols, and updated strategies for managing complex ulcers and chronic wounds.

Pelvic CVD, Thrombosis, Thrombolysis & Stenting

This course addresses pelvic congestion syndromes, embolization with coils, foam, Onyx and particles, Nutcracker and May-Thurner syndromes, venous stenting, post-thrombotic syndrome, thrombosis, thrombolysis, and vascular malformations.

Evidence Based Compression Therapy

This course explores evidence-based compression strategies, including multilayer bandaging for upper limbs, lower limbs, and special areas, therapeutic stockings, adjustable Velcro devices, and specialized taping techniques such as lympho-taping, algo-taping, and ulcus-taping.

Advanced Students & Pre-Residents Course

This simulation-based course offers practical training in medical procedures, including surgical knots, suturing, tracheostomy practice, pleural drainage, nasogastric and urinary catheter placement, CPR, diabetic foot wound care, venous Doppler, and DVT diagnosis.

A Humanitarian Mission with Real Impact

As part of the congress’s social commitment, the event will support a humanitarian medical mission focused on patient care, diagnosis, therapeutic guidance, and initial treatment. Its main objective is to provide free medical assistance to more than 500 patients from the province’s 49 health jurisdictions, with a special focus on chronic venous disease, lymphedema, diabetic foot, and related conditions.

This initiative seeks to create a tangible healthcare impact in the region by promoting access to specialized medical attention, encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening the connection between scientific knowledge, professional service, and community health.
